Being environmentally conscious is extremely important to me both personally and in my business practices. When it comes to producing my own products and recommending print services for my clients' graphic design projects, I seek out printers that have earth-friendly products and practices.

To provide a sustainable packaging alternative to plastic poly mailer bags for shipping my shop's products, I now have added 100% compostable mailers to my lineup of mailing/shipping packaging. The mailers are made from a compostable bio based polymer and plant materials such as regular field corn (i.e. a low-impact resource) and wheat straw. These bags break down within 90 days in commercial compost and 180 days in domestic compost conditions. After they have degraded, the bags do not leave harmful residues behind.
Every time I reorder the compostable mailers, a tree is planted in my area of choice. With my April 2020 order, I planted tree number 8,524 in California.

Supporting the community we live and work in is important to me and so is choosing to work with businesses that align with my values. My shirts, totes, and bandanas are printed locally in the desert by Windmill City Screen Printing. Many of our clients are locally-run businesses. For businesses that are out of our area, I enjoy helping them take their business to the next level so they themselves support their own locale.
